Atum
the play of colours and techniques

Brief : "I am an NRI and want to identify myself as a contemporary Indian with my clothes and accessories, could you design something which shows both my heritage and my current lifestyle."

Inspiration : I was inspired by the nature since India has a diverse range of flora. Lotus, which is the country's national flower, is a good representation of it. It represents purity, also inspires a lot of arts as it has always been an auspicious symbol of Indian culture.

This project was carried out at the The Design Village, Noida, India in Semester 4.

Process : I have had diverse experiences, starting with finding inspiration and progressing to concept development and exploration. This journey led me through pattern making and toiling, culminating in the final product. Throughout this process, I applied all the skills and knowledge I had previously acquired, allowing me to deepen my understanding and broaden my perspectives. As a learner, these varied experiences have significantly enriched my creative and technical abilities, enabling me to approach projects with a more comprehensive and innovative mindset. This holistic development has been instrumental in shaping my proficiency and versatility in my field.
