Kashish Jain

I am a Fashion & Textile designer and a recent graduate from The Design Village, with valuable experience gained at the Royal Academy of Art in the Netherlands in 2023. Additionally, I underwent professional training in France, Toulouse with Casa93 Mirail in 2024. 

 

I aim  to process complex emotions through textiles, explores bioplastics, and innovates with conventional and unconventional techniques, all while passionately engaging in spectrum of sustainable fashion. I am a person with a keen eye for detail & a huge passion for working with various materials. I had a growing interest in drawing, doodling, painting, crafts, and making outfits out of glitter and pearls as a child, while also wondering if I would ever wear them but I've learned over time (during my ongoing academic journey) that design cannot exist in isolation, and that's where a multidisciplinary approach comes in to enable me as a designer to enhance the range of possibilities and experiences.​ I believe, everything has a story to tell and when I look outside, I always wonder that how nature always inspires me in the most magical ways.

It’s always exciting for me to choose challenging position and learn something new from it. Here, I'm looking for ways to enhance and expand the spectrum of my thinking in this world through the lense of design.
